Collaborate. Engage. Educate.

Engage and Evolve

We want to share the experience of developing and researching LegalTech solutions, to make it possible for everyone, whether you are a small law firm or large scale organisation, to understand, use and develop LegalTech in your practice. Through collaboration, we can help you evolve and grow through LegalTech.

How can you engage with LegalTech and the Lab?

  • We’re always interested in hearing from those who have utilised and investigated LegalTech in their workplace and would love to hear how LegalTech has played a part in your role. If you’ve got experiences to share we would love to hear them!

  • With LegalTech advancement being the new kid on the block, we know that there can often be significant challenges in introducing change. Legal Innovation Lab Wales is here to help you navigate LegalTech and identify those challenges in order to debunk the mysteries surrounding it. Why not get in touch with our team to discuss the difficulties of LegalTech being more widely adopted and help us to widen the LegalTech community by illuminating these problems.

  • Many of our collaboration projects were sparked by an idea that have since led to the creation of innovative solutions now working to benefit users and wider organisations, helping people to work smarter and improve accessibility. If you have a LegalTech idea you’d like to discuss or even a problem that you think would benefit from a LegalTech solution but you’re not quite sure what that would be, then why not reach out to the Lab to find out how we can work together to create great solutions.

  • Whether you’ve overcome those obstacles or are at a standstill, the Lab would love to hear about your LegalTech journey and help find a way for you to navigate the world of LegalTech and make it work for you.

  • Collaborate

We aim to support existing and future generations of lawyers in playing an active role in shaping the impact of LegalTech on the profession. We work together with organisations to investigate areas of the law and legal practice that would benefit from LegalTech.

We also partner with law firms and external organisations to provide opportunities for professionals and students to engage with LegalTech through internships, webinars, and other engagement opportunities

  • Educate

We develop innovative educational resources in collaboration with external partners, for the benefit of the legal community and other relevant professionals.

The Lab is part of a vibrant LegalTech community within the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law at Swansea University. The LLM in LegalTech is supported by a unique partnership between Law and Computer Science and equips new generations of lawyers with the skills to harness the power of technology in the legal profession.

  • Communicate

We support the LegalTech community not only through collaborating and sharing resources, but also through engagement activities and events.

If you are interested in engaging with Legal Innovation Lab Wales, think we would be good fit for your own event or exhibition and a guest or speaker, or, if you are simply looking to attend one of our Lab events, why not connect with us via our contact form or link up with us on our social media platforms to get started and discover how we work together in the LegalTech community.
